Check the Class Calendar

Parents,

Please take a few moments to check our class calendar as there are a lot of great things going on this month.

Also to clarify for parent volunteers for our Science City field trip:

We have had a lot of parents show an interest in volunteering as chaperons on our field trip. As much as I would love to have all parents in attendance, there is space limitations and we are only allowed to have 6 adults in attendance per class. In our case, 3 classroom teachers and 3 parent volunteers.

In fairness to all that have shown an interest we will be drawing 3 names from a box in front of the students during our afternoon circle on Thursday January 15. Parents will be notified that day whether or not you are chosen in the form of a note in your child's mail bag.

If you are chosen and are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible in order to give other parents a chance to take your place on the field trip.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to our students and their families!

It was so nice welcoming our students back to school this morning. We enjoyed seeing their smiling faces and hearing them talk about all the exciting things they did over the holiday break.

Just a few reminders:

* Please make sure your child comes to school dressed for the weather in winter wear everyday.

* Please make sure your child has indoor shoes for use inside the classroom and gym.

* Please send your child's mail bag (sac en plastique) to school each morning and review the contents of the bag each evening.

*Lastly, please be sure to fill out and return the family information form and send in a family photo so we can begin learning about each other's families.
